Young Scientists, Old Bones

Week 4: July 9th to July 13th
Featuring: FasTracKids

FasTracKids is a revolutionary enrichment education system. This program is designed to challenge kids to think productively while simultaneously developing their speaking, communication and leadership skills. An interactive white board or "smart board" is used to deliver information and guide the class on our exploration of 12 subjects. Hands on activities and experiments are used during every class to ensure the thought process is complete, because children learn by doing. At FasTracKids we focus on concepts and our goal is to help your child learn and truly understand each one that we explore, so they will have a strong educational foundation. Our programs are extremely engaging and fun and will turn your kids into FasTracKids!

We Can Build It!

Week 5: July 16th to July 20th
Featuring: Woodworking specialist Bob Leduc

Bring out the handyman and inner creativity in your child. Each day this week, the children will build a classic wooden toy, then paint it and bring it home. Children will learn the basics of woodworking, including how to measure, hammer nails, and use sandpaper to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
