General Information


All children should wear clothes that are comfortable and washable. Children should wear sneakers or other closed and securely fastened shoes. Open-toe shoes and sandals may inhibit activity and can be dangerous.


Please send your child with the following daily essentials:
  • Hat for sunny days.
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellent.
  • A change of clothes (may be kept at the Boroughs JCC for the week)
  • Diapers and wipes, if necessary


Snacks will be provided.

All children should bring their own lunch and beverage each day. These lunches will not be refrigerated. Please pack your child’s lunch in a clearly labeled lunch box.

Please remember the Boroughs JCC is a nut free facility.


Please apply sunscreen to your child each day before arrival. The teachers will reapply sunscreen as necessary. We require a signed permission form to apply sunscreen and insect repellent.

Class Size

All programs require a minimum number of students. All classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration and Fees

Registration is accepted in person or by mail. Please complete the attached form and return it with your deposit to the JCC** ALL FORMS AND DEPOSITS MUST BE IN BY JUNE 2nd, 2014 **

** Payment in full is due June 16th, 2014 **

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the program is cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel a class when the minimum number of students are not enrolled prior to the start of class.

Swim Program Requirements

To participate in Swim Lessons program, children must be at least a Red Cross Level 1 and not higher than Red Cross Level 3.

Medical Forms

State guidelines require all children have a medical exam before the start of the summer programs. Lead paint tests are required, and for those children born after January 1, 1997, a dose of varicella vaccine (or note from your physician stating that your child has had the chicken pox). Children enrolled in the Boroughs JCC Preschool with an up-to-date medical form will not need to submit a new form.

Drop Off and Pick Up

Our programs begin each morning at 9:00 AM.

Parents who wish to pick up their child before the scheduled time must inform the director in writing. 


We must have written permission to release a child to any adult other than their parent. We also require picture identification of any person other than the parent. 

Please be prompt picking up your child: 

  • Programs end at 2:00 pm
  • Stay & Play ends at 4:00 pm 
  • Extended Day ends at 5:30 pm.
